Since 1974, Raintree House has been providing a loving home-like setting for abused and neglected female foster children ages eleven to eighteen. With a capacity to house fourteen girls, Raintree House offers caring and loving guidance, helping the girls attain hopes and dreams they never had before. Every year Friends of Raintree supports this mission by helping create magical memories, such as providing funds to buy a cake, ice cream and present for each resident’s birthday.

Raintree House makes all holidays as special as possible for its residents. With the collected membership dues and donations, Friends of Raintree assist the staff by providing support for holiday celebrations. In 2016, Friends of Raintree provided plush bunnies for Easter to each resident. That morning, each girl cuddled with the special toy as they prepared for a day of fun. Friends of Raintree also assist with a Holiday Party for residents. All of the girls receive winter jackets, gloves, scarves, gift cards, and other presents. Santa delivers the gifts, carols are sung, and lifetime memories are made.
